The plants that we eat already contain about 10K times more naturally-occurring (produced by the plants) carcinogens that anything we spray on them. Plants can make excellent medicines, but not the best food.
It's a good thing ice age humans were okay with only eating meat;-)
It seems we've lost almost all of that part of our digestive system which is similar to a cow's or a primate's, i.e., the cecum, which is now only vestigial in humans. But if we work hard enough on it, maybe we can stretch out that part which can ferment plants (for a very long time) so that the bacteria can digest the plants for us (as it does in ruminant animals) and then we can then digest the byproducts of the bacteria, as well as the bacteria, (as ruminant animals do) so that we can obtain the fatty acids and aminos we need. It's a devotional effort, with lots of farts;-)
Surprised that the Organic Valley brand is on the list.
I know, even limited organic brands to choose from. Can’t believe how toxic our world has become.

I still believe plants should be part of the diet when grown in the right soil. I am not a fan of extreme diets such as all meat or all plants.

Who decides this??
"very special circumstances"
That’s the point. The consumer has no way of knowing.
Right it was rhetorical!
