No doctor has ever mentioned me being post menopausal. No doctor has ever suggested hormone replacement. No doctor has ever said anything about hormones to me in my entire life.
I haven't read Dr Elizabeth Bright's book yet, but I agree that women have been aging for thousands of years and only recently has it been detrimental to our health. Why? I think a high fat, low carb diet is our OG diet and doesn't need supplementation.
I love to hear you are doing well on it! It's been fabulous for relieving so many aches and pains I thought were 'natural'! I finally convinced my spouse to start too - he turns 70 this year.
I've been using Biote for years and wouldn't trade it for anything! I get told every day I look 40's...I'm several years over 50! I do think it's important to use in conjunction with Progesterone, as stated by my doctor, it's a brain hormone not a female reproductive hormone. Biote helps with joint pain ALOT, it helps with mood swings, and my libido is GREAT!
I looked up the Biote brand and it has many supplements. If you do not mind me asking, did a health professional do any hormone testing before using these products and which do you use?
Yes they did and do once a year. The only supplement I find beneficial and that even my more homeopathic doctor suggests is the Dim. Which I use Solaray from Natural Grocers, not the one sold by Biote at my other doctor's office. Sorry I am just seeing this!
I’ve been on BHRT for about a decade and love them. I was having a lot of menopausal symptoms and found a female doctor who specializes in it. We’ve monitored my levels throughout the years adjusting as necessary. Will I take them forever? No. But by working with a holistic doctor and monitoring my levels, I feel good about my approach. And I feel good, which is the goal.

Thank you for sharing the link. I’m not familiar with Bright so I will watch this interview.

Thank you for sharing that information.
Giorgi is the man!!
Thank you. I had not seen this in regard to her estrogen rebuttal post. It would be helpful to have her on Mercola for an interview.
I have read a bit of Peat’s writings. It seems like people are either all in on Peat’s content or very against his information.
