Just came back from vacation and of course most of the time had to eat out. Geez the food that people eat out. Those with us picked Olive Garden (haven't been there is about 8 years). Now they have the calorie count although I am not sure anyone even looks at it. How people can eat like that week after week is beyond me.
We are fortunate that we have friends that own a small farm. Able to come home with 13 dozen eggs, Roma tomatoes, potatoes, onions, garlic and beautiful heads of cabbage.
Oh wonderful on the eggs and produce! Calorie count on the menu is helpful, if like you said, people pay attention to it. Wish they would list on the menu what oils they cook with!
I did not and thank you for sharing it. Funny how Medscape (propaganda site) had a recent article saying the opposite-that some processed foods are healthy.
