'A midwestern Doctor' here on Substack has been giving out lots of info on DMSO, and did mention about it helping hair loss in one of the DMSO articles. He's done several articles, so you may need to scan all of them to find which one had that information. You might want to try it.

Thank you. I am putting DMSO on my scalp. I started only several days ago. I'm going to put it on, massage it in, twice daily x 3 months and monitor.

Thank you, I'm trying DMSO currently. I'm only a few days in so I will stick with it for 3 months to see if it helps.

I've heard from many professionals that collagen supplements don't help. It's the free aminos that are the the powerhouses. There's so much conflicting information out there on everything so who knows.

I think it depends on the root cause. I'm pretty sure my hair loss is a hormonal issue but I have issues taking anything that increases testosterone so I'm trying some other avenues. I know the specific collagen product I am using is helping a few other people with hair loss/thinning of hair, who have reported back to me so for them it may be addressing a root cause. Agree on amino acid benefits. I like perfect aminos by bodyhealth.com and they have detailed information about them versus using just BCAA in which they state the essential amino acids in the correct ratio will help build new collagen.
