As I mentioned in August, our son was in the US from Thailand, and I had not seen him in two and a half years, so I put work and writing on hold. Then, we traveled to NC for our other son’s special warfare graduation.
On the day of his graduation, I got very sick. I am not going to debate if viruses exist, but I know that when I finally got back to CO, I did not get out of bed for the next 36 hours. Even after that, I had severe brain fog/head thickness and fatigue.
Lastly, we are making a last-minute move to a different state. As soon as I got out of bed feeling somewhat better, I had to start boxing up the entire place.
So here I am, after driving for three days to get to our new destination, but not in the house for another three weeks. I am in a place with no Wi-Fi, and it is pouring rain, with flooding and strong winds expected tonight.
So, life has been a little crazy, and I feel very in limbo and disorganized right now. I am out of my regular routine and not in a permanent residence yet, which does affect my writing process.
While the move was sudden, I do feel that change is good, and I hope that the new place will open me up to some new opportunities.
I am going to do my best to post occasionally, but they will not be regular posts until I get settled into the new place and have Wi-Fi.
I appreciate your support and reading my health and nutrition posts.
Hope you feel better and that you get settled soon! My grandmother always used to say that every move to a different house was like having a small house fire. At first, I thought that saying referred to the inevitable damage to some furniture, dishes, etc. But after several moves, I think it also refers to the psychological trauma and physical exhaustion of moving. Wishing you all the best!
Thank you so much for the update. Your home in CO sounded so idyllic. I’m hoping you find your new home to be the same or more. I’ve missed your posts as I always find them immensely helpful. Rest, recuperate and I look forward to resuming my health education when you are ready.
