WHEAT ZOOMER TEST SALE
Starts now until December 5th
I have finally signed up with several sites where I can now access hundreds of labs and thousands of lab tests for my clients. I am very excited about this but even more excited as I may have a blood draw location for people residing in the Pagosa Springs, CO area. I will call this location on Monday to confirm.
Over time I will highlight different tests, who may benefit from the test, and for whom it is unnecessary.
But wait, first, what is a Wheat Zoomer test, and what makes it different than wheat and gluten sensitivity tests?
What the Wheat Zoomer Detects
The Wheat Zoomer test will identify not just gluten protein sensitivity but also identify if you are sensitive to other proteins found in wheat (and other gluten-containing foods such as barley, spelt, and rye).
My first attempt at my Ph.D. dissertation was to examine the effects of a wheat-free diet on people with asthma. It was not a feasible design for one person to attempt, but I learned a lot in the literature review process.
One key finding was that even though gluten makes up the most significant amount of protein content in wheat, there are other proteins that a person can be sensitive to.
Researchers may have incorrectly identified people as not having wheat sensitivity when they did because they used gluten pills in randomized, double-blind, controlled trials.
Other food sensitivity tests only look at gluten proteins.
These other tests do not compare to the Wheat Zoomer since the Wheat Zoomer aids in the specific recognition of antibodies to wheat peptides-gluten and non-gluten components and will also examine for leaky gut antibodies.
This is a highly sensitive test and has been validated at 99% specificity and sensitivity.
Below is an example of what test results will look like and all the components of wheat the test includes.
Who Would Benefit From Taking This Test
digestive/IBS-like symptoms
You cannot get your vitamin D levels up even with supplementation
Brain fog, difficulty concentrating/ADD-like symptoms
low energy, lethargy, ongoing fatigue
Skin conditions (i.e., eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis)
chronic headaches/migraines
weight gain/loss
joint pain or numbers in legs, arms, or fingers
It is a misnomer to think that only people with GI issues have celiac or wheat sensitivity.
If you are looking for a comprehensive food sensitivity test, at this time, the only one I recommend is the ALCAT (Antigen Leukocyte Antibody Test), which is a blood test that measures your immune system’s response to over-stimulation of white blood cells (leukocytes). The ALCAT can also screen for not only foods but also additives, colorings, dyes, and some chemical substances.
For any child with ADHD, behavioral issues (head banging, violent outbursts), bedwetting, or autism, I would consider this test since it includes dyes and coloring chemicals, which children may be more sensitive to.
Who May Not Benefit From Taking the Wheat Zoomer Test
If you are already on a long-term strict wheat-free diet (6 months or longer), the test may render a false negative result since the body will no longer mount an IgA/IgG antibody response.
If you are not on a strict wheat-free diet, research indicates that even a single exposure to wheat proteins can elevate antibodies and remain there for 2 to 6 months!
If you are on immunosuppressant drugs, endogenous antibody production is suppressed and may yield false negative test results.
Packages Offered
This is a dried blood spot test so no need to go to the lab for a blood draw-yay!
This could make a great gift; many people are curious to know what their reaction is to wheat. You can also order two for one person to check their results before and after wheat removal.
Order 1 test: $350
Order 2 tests: $325 each
Order 3 or more tests: $310 each
Add on a consult to review the test results which includes a plan of action: 30 minutes for only $50 (usually $75, and prices go up in 2024)
How to order: Schedule a free 30-minute appointment via my calendly link calendly.com/drkbrennan
In the box that asks you to share anything, please state that this appointment is to order tests and provide your phone number, as we do not need to do a Zoom call for this.
Note: I will need the names, emails, and phone numbers of the people you are purchasing the tests for, BUT I will only contact them after I have their results. I will need the address to send the kits to.
Once the results are in my practitioner portal, I will email them to the test taker. If you added the consult to the test, when I email the results, the individual can use calendly to set up a consult with me to review the results.
If you do not see a time on my calendly that works for you, email me at trufoodsnutition@yahoo.com with your time zone and the best days and times that work for you, and we will set up a time that works best for you!

Black Friday and Cyber Monday Supplement sale
Fullscript SALE. Stock up on what you need when illness strikes. In the early months of 2020, I had people call me asking me what they should do and what they should take as they were sick (with cov!d). It wasn't easy to guide them because they could not go to the store to get what they needed, and by the time they ordered and received what they needed,…
